Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we handle personal data for our peel-and-stick wall décor store, and the rights you have over it.

Who is responsible for your data
SALTIRE DRYWALL CONTRACTS LTD("Wallwrap", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through saltiredrywaall.shop. Our registered office is 8 Birch Place, Bridge of Earn, Scotland, PH2 9FH, United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, contact support@saltiredrywaall.shop.
What we collect
- Order & delivery data: name, email, phone, shipping address, delivery and billing address, items ordered, colourway and quantity, order value and status.
- Account & membership data: if you join Wallwrap Club — plan, membership status, renewal and cancellation dates.
- Enquiry & support data: messages sent through our contact and measure-help forms, including wall dimensions, surface type and preferences you describe.
- Payment status data: confirmation of payment, refund and dispute status. We never receive or store your full card number (see below).
- Technical & usage data: IP address, device and browser type, and essential/analytics cookie data where enabled.
Where the data comes from
We collect data directly from you when you place an order, start checkout, join a membership, or submit a form. We also receive limited data from our payment processor (payment/refund/dispute outcomes), our hosting and delivery providers, and analytics tools where you have accepted them.
Why we use it and our legal bases
- To fulfil your order and membership — performance of a contract.
- To provide support and respond to enquiries — legitimate interests and, for measure-help/contact submissions, your consent.
- To take payment and manage refunds, chargebacks and fraud checks — contract and legitimate interests.
- To send order and service messages — contract. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
- To keep re-marketing leads from checkout — consent given via the checkout consent box; you may withdraw it at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
Payments boundary
Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. When you pay, your card details are entered on Stripe's secure hosted checkout — Wallwrap does not see, receive or store your full card number, CVC or full card data. We only receive the outcome of a payment (success, failure, refund or dispute) and the billing information needed to reconcile your order. Stripe processes card data as an independent controller/processor under its own terms and privacy policy.
Order fulfilment, delivery and shipping data
To complete order fulfilment we process your name, shipping address and contact details, and pass the shipping address and order contents to our fulfilment and logistics carriers so your parcel can be picked, packed, shipped and tracked worldwide. Carriers use the shipping address solely to deliver your order and, where relevant, to calculate or collect any import duties on delivery. We keep order-fulfilment records (what was shipped, to which shipping address, and the delivery outcome) to handle tracking, delivery issues, returns, exchanges and refunds, and to meet our tax and accounting duties. Billing data linked to your payment is processed only to reconcile the order and support refunds and chargebacks; full card details are handled by Stripe, not by us.
Who we share your data with
We share data only with processors and partners that help us run the store, under appropriate contracts:
- Hosting & infrastructure — our website hosting and serverless platform.
- Payments — Stripe, for card processing, refunds and dispute handling.
- Database & storage — our managed database provider, for orders, memberships and form submissions.
- Email — our transactional email provider, for order and support messages.
- Delivery & logistics carriers — to ship your order and provide tracking.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Because we ship worldwide and use global service providers, your data may be processed outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax and accounting obligations (typically up to 6 years). Contact and measure-help submissions and checkout re-marketing leads are kept for no longer than 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Membership records are kept for the life of the membership plus the statutory retention period.
Security
We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, access controls, and reputable processors. Card data is handled by Stripe under PCI DSS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you and any regulator where legally required in the event of a breach.
Your rights
Subject to your location, you have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") where applicable.
- Restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing.
- Data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
UK GDPR / EU GDPR:you may exercise these rights and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
California (CCPA/CPRA):California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@saltiredrywaall.shop. We respond within the timeframe required by law.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If we ever changed this, we would provide a clear opt-out mechanism here first. California residents may still submit a request to support@saltiredrywaall.shop to confirm this status.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout, and — only with your consent — analytics cookies to understand and improve the store. You control non-essential cookies through your browser and our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Automated decisions and children
We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Our store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Customers aged 13–17 must have a parent or guardian's consent, and application should be carried out by an adult. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
